I live in the Cleveland suburbs here in lovely Ohio. Every election, I have voted in person at my polling location and the longest I have ever waited was about 5 minutes.
It is 37° at the moment. The sun is trying to peak over the horizon but hasn’t quite made it. There is a cold wind but it is clear and no rain. The line to vote wrapped completely around our giant rec center when I got here at 6:15am. I have not seen one person leave the line and that line is made up of mostly 40 somethings and younger.
I saw my neighbor here … in shorts. He’s not leaving. He’s voting for Biden.
Go vote America.

Thanks everyone for the rec list! Quick update — it took me almost two hours to cast my ballot. When I came out, the line had fully wrapped around the building, almost twice as long as when I got there at 6:15. The kid in front of me was 18 and voting for the first time and he was fired up to do so. The young poll workers outnumbered the old by 3 to 1 which was amazing. I didn’t hear one mention of Trump the entire time. The crowd in line seemed to skew toward the younger side, but that is probably to be expected with the pandemic. I have never felt better about voting than I did today.

My wife left at 9:30am to vote. She finished at 11:45. The line was wrapped completely around the building when she got there and it was longer when she left.
This is….um…..not ordinary.
This state better turn blue or I will be very upset.
